When will the promotion start and end?

The promotion runs from 9:00 AM (AEST) on 30 September 2025 to 11:59 PM (AEDT) on 15 December 2025.

To enter the Promotion, the entrant must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period: 

  1. purchase a specially marked case of Great Northern from any BWS or Dan Murphy’s store within Australia that stocks and sells the specially marked cases, while stocks last (includes their respective online stores) ("Participating Venues")*; and

  2. visit the promotional website (by scanning the QR code found on the case) and follow the prompts to the Promotion entry page; and fully complete and submit the online entry form with their personal details as requested and the unique code found inside the specially marked case. 

*Purchases made via Uber Eats, DoorDash, Menulog and MILKRUN through the abovementioned stores are also eligible provided a specially marked case is delivered.

A specially marked carton of the following (subject to stocks remaining):

  • Great Northern Original 24-pack (bottles) or 30-pack (cans)
  • Great Northern Super Crisp 24-pack (bottles) or 30-pack (cans)

The competition will run in participating  BWS or Dan Murphy’s stores within Australia that stocks and sell the specially marked cases, while stocks last (includes their respective online stores) ("Participating Venues")*;

There are up to 30 Tier 1 instant win prizes available to be won which will be awarded randomly throughout the Competition Period as selected by a computerised system.

There are up to 71,634 Tier 2 instant win prizes available to be won which will be awarded randomly throughout the Competition Period as selected by a computerised system.

Multiple entries permitted subject to the following:

  1. maximum of one (1) entry permitted per specially marked case purchased;
  2. limit one (1) entry permitted per person per day;
  3. maximum of five (5) entries permitted per person throughout the Promotional Period;
  4. only one (1) unique code per entry is permitted;
  5. the same unique code cannot be used more than once;
  6. unrecognised codes will be deemed invalid; and
  7. each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry instructions above.

All instant prize winners will be notified on screen upon entry form submission, subject to verification. The winners must follow the instructions sent to them via email on how to claim their prize.

The total prize pool is up to $1,254,063.00.

You must retain proof of purchase. The proof of purchase required is the unique code found inside the specially marked case of Great Northern.

No, you do not have to keep to product packaging, just your unique code.
